Ms. Christine Jones was born on May 30, 1951, in Round Pond, Arkansas to the late Earnest Jones and Frances Stacy. On February 23, 2024, she transitioned peacefully to be with her heavenly father.
Christine received most of her education in Arkansas before moving to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of seventeen to be with her mother. She finished her education in the Cleveland Public School System.
Christine was the only child of a loving, devoted and Christian mother, Frances Jones. She was blessed with two sons, Amos and James. She is lovingly remembered as “Stine” and “Grandma Stine.”
Christine was employed for many years at Mr. Coffee until it closed its Glenwillow factory in 1998 and afterwards held domestic jobs until she was no longer able to work. She enjoyed the simple things in life, crossword puzzles, taking bus trips to the Amish Farm with friends and attending family events when she was able.
She was preceded in death by her mother (Frances Jones), grandson Amos Jones Jr. and great-grandson Amos Mikal Jones. She is survived by her sons Amos Jones Sr. (Salena) and James L. Jones (Cassandra), grandchildren Tashianna, Aaron, Shiloh, Bryan, and Jamel; great-grandchildren Ja’Yaire, Santana, Erin, Aniyla, and Tatumn, cousins (too many to name); and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
