Clara Isabell McDowell (Mamma) went to her heavenly home November 03, 2024 at the age of 94 on her Birthday surrounded by family. She was known to all by Mamma. She was born November 03, 1930 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Frances and Floyd Lee. She moved to Akron Ohio in the 50’s to help her older sister Betty McDowell with her children, where she met the late Zebdee McDowell.

Clara was self employed most of her working years at Silver Lake Towers Clara and Zebdee McDowell had five children, daughters Zebetta Landers, Delores Board, Lorna Florence, Angela Lucy and only son Zebdee McDowell Jr. Her first love was her worship for the LORD. her hobbies consisted of canning, cooking, gardening, sewing, kickball, softball, and MOST of all SNOWBALL FIGHTS with her grandkids, and great grandkids. The treasured memories are the Anniversary Parties, Halloween Parties, and Casino Trips. Clara was married to the late Zebdee McDowell who they have shared their Birthday on the same day, Anniversary day and now even the Funeral date November 22, 20 years later!!!! In their union they had five children, 19 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, and 36 great great grandchildren having five generations.

She leaves to cherish her memories sisters Alice Burton of North Carolina and Dorothy (Lamont) Atkinson Florida, brother George Lee of Akron, a number of nieces and nephews, lots of cousins, very special friends Katie Ellis and Willie McMasters. Late sisters Betty (Winifred-Skylo) McDowell, Mary McCreary, Florine(Eric) Gray and late brothers Floyd-Buck Lee, Alonzo (Edith)Lee,Thomas-Tommy(Helen) Lee, Albert Lee, Daniel Lee, William-Bill Lee
