Ms. Clara M Booker, age 88, passed away on November 7, 2023. Clara was born in Vandergrift, PA to Julius Wright and Willa Mae Wright.

Clara was a lifelong caregiver. She studied nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Employed in 1963, Clara spent 35 years as a nurse at Marymount Hospital. During her years at Marymount, Clara worked in Cardiac Intensive care, Surgical Recovery, Mental Health and was a night supervisor from 1975-1984. She retired from Marymount in 1998. She felt that her profession is what helped her through difficult times.

Clara was an avid reader. Until her later years in life, you could always find her with a book. She also enjoyed game shows. The Price Is Right, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and most recently Family Feud were her favorites.

Her church family was very important to her. She enjoyed helping in any way she could whether that be on the Hostess Committee or giving relief to church members and caring for their loved ones. Clara always wanted to help.

She was preceded in death by Willa Mae Wright (Mother), Julius Wright (Father), Richard Wright (brother) and Robert Eugene Booker (son).

Clara is survived by Jewell Wright (sister), David Booker (son), Jeffrey Jaime Booker (son) and Lisa Guyton (daughter). She leaves grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces to mourn her loss.
