Clarence Morgan, Sr was born one the 12^th day of September 1947, in Washington County Mississippi, in the town of Hollandale. He departed from his life on the 2^nd day of January 2022. Clarence attended Cleveland Public School. He was a Vietnam veteran in the U.S. Army, serving there as an air traffic controller at Cleveland Hopkins airport. He pursued his dream of auto mechanics and drag racing. Preceding him in death were his mother Nora Irene Morgan, his brother Rufus Morgan and Eugene Morgan Walker, and his sister Barbara Morgan. He leaves to mourn his son Clarence James Morgan Jr. Shirley Cooper, their grandson Isaiah Morgan, his two sister, Betty Reid and Dorothy Morgan, and many family members and friends

My heart goes out to the family, and to his son who had to tell everyone, Clarence was a good man ,he had built a couple engines for me and was in process of doing another, 1 bad a$% gear head ,knew a whole and experienced a whole lot,any questions i ever had with fixing or building something myself he was just a call away, really thought he would get to see me go down the track 1 day,until we meet again my friend

My heartfelt sympathy to the Morgan Family. My heart is heavy. Clarence had such a kind spirit and gentle soul. He always greeted everyone with a huge smile. I will miss his smile. I will miss this beautiful person.

Our families go a long way back, starting with our mothers being friends in Mississippi. My brother Lavalle and I went to school with Rufus and Clarence. My prayer is that your family accept the love and peace of mind that only Jesus Christ can bring in a time such as this. God Bless You All.
