Clarence Steadman IV, “Chop”, was born February 3, 1995, to Niquiesha Ervin and Clarence Steadman III in Akron, OH.

Clarence attended Buchtel High School (Akron, OH). While attending, he completed art and design, and band programs. Clarence had a passion for music. He started band in elementary school, playing the violin.

Clarence loved to learn about religion. He attended church and bible study since his early youth. He accepted God into his life.

Clarence worked in auto parts sales and automotive detailing. He loved cars ever since he was a baby, being around and helping Dad work on cars.

Clarence married Damaris Ashby of Akron, OH on December 24, 2014. To this union one child, Dakota Alexander Steadman, was born.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to cook, cookout, gamble at game room (casinos), play cards, joke around, and watch movies. He loved making music, rapping, dancing, and going to the studio to record music with his friends.

Clarence departed this life July 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by brothers, Kendrence Steadman,and De’Veal Smith; great grandparents, Clarence (Ella Mae) Steadman Sr., Arthur L.
