Clarence Garrison was born on November 25, 1932 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Grover Garrison and Lula McHenry (both deceased).
Clarence grew up and went to school in Arkansas before relocating to Cleveland OH at the age of 19. He worked as a dedicated employee with Chrysler for several years until his retirement.
Clarence had a quiet presence and didn’t like to be “fussed” over. Yet he loved fussing over others. He always offered to help anyone with anything they needed with expecting nothing in return. He loved spending time with others the most, whether it was through sharing a meal, listening to music, or sitting in silence. Clarence was always willing to lend an ear and show love in the ways he knew how.
Clarence was preceded in death by his siblings Grover Garrison Jr., Ernest Garrison, Frank Garrison, Herman Garrison, Rosie Miller, Ceola Smith, Beatrice Langston, Pearletha Garrison, and Mack Garrison. He was also preceded by his son Vernard Garrison. He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Somalia Garrison, Clarence Garrison Jr., Marcus Garrison, LaShaun Ali, Sharif Garrison, Ronald Ali, Sabir Muhammad and Nawasa Garrison. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Clarence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
