Clifton Osburn, Jr. was born to the Late Clifton Osburn, Sr. and Clara Woods-Osburn on February 15, 1931. Clifton answered his final curtain call on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 10:50 a.m., blessed to live 90 years. He was one of five (5) siblings, i.e., Ethel Bell, Eunice, Sally Mae, and Ella Beatrice. Firmly believed in Honoring Thy Father and Mother.
He was a sharp dresser (could call him “Mr. G Q”) topped off by stylish hats, complimenting his attire.
Married to Mary, (the love of his life) over 37 years, preceded him in death 7 yrs. Ago. He was blessed with his son Zackery Phillips during his formative years thru another union. He and Mary would take annual vacations to Hot Springs Arkansas extending a month, getting much needed rest.
He answered to many names, i.e., Pee Wee, Buddy, Uncle Buddy, Mr. Pee Wee, and Old Dude. His signature greeting, was GOOD MONING and if he wanted to emphasize his point, he would say S -H- I- T (SOUTHERN ROOTS).
He often bragged about working with his father, harvesting trees for lumber, using a crosscut saw (no chain saws) real manual labor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing. lemon cookies and ice cream.
Additionally, had many talents as a mechanic {auto and tow motors}, rehabber, brick yard employee and welder. If you happen to see him in his old truck with the words “Pee Wee” on the side, the bib of his cap turned around to the back, you knew he was on a mission to get work done.
Although he had a host of nieces and nephews, there were a few people he knew he could depend on (Jackie, Richard, Lena, Lucille, Betty, Andria and Nika). If GOD gives you an assignment, take it, He will lead you thru. MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP HIS REMAINING SIBLING (Eunice Hewitt, Marion, Alabama) in his loving arms.
