Clyde A. Harris Sr, 82, became our guardian angel on September 2, 2018. Affectionately known as “Mamma Jamma” Clyde was beloved by all he encountered.
Clyde’s Sunrise was July 27, 1936, in Akron, Ohio to William & Marietta Harris Sr. He attended and graduated from South High School in 1954. In his young adult life, he met, courted and married JoAnn Simpson on July 11, 1959. Of that union, four children were born Sebryna, Clyde Jr., Nathaniel, and Laura. Clyde and JoAnn recently celebrated their 59th anniversary. Clyde was a Staff Sergeant in the US Armed Forces where he was stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas.
