Clyde was born to the late Frankie, Flanagan Davis and Andrew Clyde Barrett Clyde shared one sister Dolores, where which proceeded him in death. He was educated in the Kansas City public school system, and he went to Sumner Senior high in Kansas City… he accepted Christ as a child and lived a Christian life. He maintained a career as a tool and die welder. He worked 31 years for General Motors. Clyde married Sue Boyd on August 23, 1952, and they were married for 69 years before her death in 2021 he was an avid golfer. He loved to ride his bike. He did ride a motorcycle when he was younger, and he loved to spend time with his children and his grandchildren. he also loved to bowl Clyde was proceeded in death by his wife of 69 years Sue Boyd Barrett and his grandson Desmond Hanley and his sister Dolores ware. He is survived by his special lady friend of 25 years Shirley; daughter’s Lynda Gustin, Robert, Claudette Jones, Ronald Donna Johnson, Ronnie deceased and Angela Hanley, Hillman, his grandchildren, Ronald , Melissa, Stacy, Chad, Bridgette, Jarrod, DAngelo, Michael, Cassadi and Briana his great grandchildren, LaRon, India, Chad, Christopher, Devin, Sophia, Brian, DAngelo, Richard, Max Farrah, Chase, Carter, Mason, Charlie, Mikyla, Caleb, Lina , Mikell , and Desmond. And two nieces, Nanette Rellerford and Sharon Ware. and a host of other family and friends.
