A Life Beautifully Lived

On Sunday, June 21, 2026, our hearts were shattered as Clydia LaTanya Williams Craig peacefully went to sleep, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, compassion, strength, and unconditional love. Though her earthly journey has ended, the memories she created and the lives she touched will remain with us forever.

Clydia was born on May 5, 1978, to Vernon Williams and Donna McKenzie, who lovingly nurtured a daughter destined for greatness. She was christened in the Roman Catholic faith, where she developed the spiritual values and moral principles that guided her throughout her life.

From an early age, Clydia displayed an extraordinary intellect, determination, and maturity beyond her years. She began her education at Ms. Brown Basic School in Jones Town before attending John Mills All-Age School, where she excelled academically. Her outstanding performance in the National Common Entrance Examination earned her a place at Holy Childhood High School, one of Jamaica’s premier institutions for young women.

At Holy Childhood High School, Clydia blossomed into an exceptional student and leader. She distinguished herself academically, earning numerous distinctions and credits in the Caribbean Examinations while actively participating in school life and forming lifelong friendships. Her commitment to excellence never wavered.

Determined to continue pursuing academic success, Clydia completed her Advanced Level Caribbean Examinations with distinction before matriculating to the University of the West Indies. There, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with Upper Second Class Honours, a proud achievement that reflected her diligence, perseverance, and passion for learning. She then continued to Baruch College in Manhattan, New York, obtaining a B.Sc. in Communications.

Her professional journey was equally impressive. She began her career in communications and Alternative Dispute Resolution, where her excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism earned the admiration of colleagues and clients alike. After migrating to Canada, she successfully transitioned into the field of finance, continuing to build a reputation for competence, excellence, and reliability. Before her transition on June 21, 2026, she was employed to News Media Group, an advertising company based in Colorado as an Accounts Payable Personnel.

She had her first son Myles Gabre Christie in Canada. She met her now beloved husband LaTravis Craig and birthed her second son Isaiah Craig. She later made her home in the United States alongside her beloved husband, LaTravis Craig, where together they built a loving family and continued pursuing their dreams.

While Clydia’s academic and professional accomplishments were remarkable, her greatest achievement was the way she loved and cared for her family. She was a natural leader who willingly assumed responsibility for her parents’ businesses and became a dependable pillar of strength for her siblings and extended family. She gave selflessly of her time, wisdom, and resources, always ensuring those she loved were supported and encouraged.

Clydia embraced life with grace, elegance, and enthusiasm. She believed every moment should be lived fully and joyfully. She delighted in travelling, experiencing different cultures, and creating cherished memories with family and friends. Family gatherings were among her greatest joys, where her infectious laughter, warm smile, and vibrant personality filled every room. She possessed a rare ability to make everyone feel welcomed, appreciated, and loved.

As a devoted wife, Clydia shared a beautiful partnership with her husband, LaTravis. Together they nurtured a home built on love, faith, respect, and unwavering commitment. She was an exceptional mother to her beloved sons, Myles and Isaiah, who were the pride and joy of her life. Everything she did was motivated by her desire to provide them with opportunities, guidance, and unconditional love.

To her parents, she was a devoted and caring daughter whose accomplishments brought immense pride. To her siblings, she was a protector, mentor, confidante, and constant source of encouragement. To her extended family and friends, she was dependable, compassionate, thoughtful, and fiercely loyal. She celebrated the successes of others as though they were her own and offered comfort during life’s most difficult moments.

Those who knew Clydia will remember her impeccable sense of style, quiet confidence, intelligence, generosity, and unwavering commitment to excellence. She lived with purpose, loved without reservation, and inspired everyone around her to become the very best version of themselves.

Although words cannot fully express the depth of our loss, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through her family, her accomplishments, and the countless lives she enriched through her kindness and love.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband, LaTravis Craig; her beloved sons, Myles Christie and Isaiah Craig; her loving parents, Vernon Williams and Donna McKenzie; her brothers and sisters: Hanna-Miskha Williams, Ishani Williams, Mickeisha Dalhouse, Shawna Dalhouse, Bryan Hughkeith, Nadine (Janet) Williams, Omar Zico Williams, Suzie Williams, Tyresse Williams, Jaida Williams, Merrick Williams, Urroy Williams, Nordia Williams, Vernon Williams, Vince Williams, Patrick Williams, and Sabrina Williams; her nieces and nephews; her aunts: Sharene McKenzie, Denise McKenzie (Paula), Marcia Marcelly, Madge Murray, Sandra Ricketts, Jacqueline McKenzie, Audrey McKenzie- Smith, and Debbie Ann McKenzie Ellis; her uncles: Clyde McKenzie, Ralston McKenzie, Dexton McKenzie, Robert McKenzie, and Richard McKenzie; her cousins; her extended family in Jamaica, Canada, and the United States; treasured friends; former classmates; colleagues; and all whose lives were blessed by knowing her.

Though she has departed this earthly life, her love remains our guiding light. Her strength continues to inspire us. Her laughter echoes in our memories. Her example challenges us to live courageously, love deeply, and serve others faithfully.

Our hearts will forever hold the beautiful memories of a remarkable woman whose life was a blessing, whose love was immeasurable, and whose legacy will endure for generations to come.
