In loving memory of Connie Kay McGuire (Walker), born on November 18, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, to her late parents Hilda and Norman Walker. Connie was raised in the Catholic faith and graduated from Immaculate Conception. She dedicated her career as a Certified Medication Specialist. Connie’s love story began at a young age when she met her ex-husband when they were just 12 and 13 years old. They shared a beautiful journey together and were married on October 28th, 1963.
Connie is survived by her children and grandchildren. Daughter Donna Fontenette, married to Arthur Fontenette. Children: Jeffrey Worman (deceased), Christine Unkle, Sarah DeLong, and Shawn Howard. Son Edward McGuire, married to Jill. Children: Rebecca Dominick and Nicholas McGuire. Son Daniel McGuire, married to Heather Young. Child: Veronica Daulton.
Connie will be remembered as a loving mother of three, a cherished grandmother of seven, and a proud great grandmother of six. She was a beloved sister to Rose Dawn DeLaughter, a brother to Norman Walker Jr, and the late Donna Cardi. She also leaves behind her sisters Barbara Traylinek and Karen Chychlyk.
Connie had a passion for music in all genres, and she found joy in dancing, bird watching, and relaxing on porch swings. She had a deep love for travel and had a particular fascination with Egyptology. Connie often remarked that if she had the chance to live her life again, she would have chosen to be an archaeologist.
Connie Kay McGuire will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kind heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for her family and life’s wonders.
