Mrs. Cornelia Lee-Bradley also known as “Faye” was born on August 20, 1928, in Birmingham, AL to Johnny Cummings Sr. and Sarah (Driver). One of eight children, six of whom were girls, she attended A.H. Parker High School and graduated in 1946. After high school, she worked in a local doctor’s office as a nurse’s assistant. Faye had one son, Earl Boykins, in 1945.
In the early 1950’s she made her way to Cleveland, OH where she eventually married John Lee. They would go on to divorce in 1987 before his death in 1989.
Faye lived in Cleveland until her passing, where she worked for Hillcrest Hospital until her retirement in 1993. She was also a faithful member of St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church for more than 50 years where she served on the Usher Board.
Faye would find love again and would go on to marry Mr. William Bradley later in life. They would remain married until his passing in 2003.
Faye went to meet the Lord on December 1, 2022.
She leaves behind her son, Earl; a granddaughter Tammy; three grandsons Derek, Casey, and Curtis; and three great-grandchildren Joshua, Kaylen, and Taylor. Faye as the last remaining sibling of the Cummings children was the matriarch of the family and leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
