Daisy Mae Richardson 87, of Akron, OH received her wings on October 18, 2019, after an extended illness.  She was born on March 31, 1932, in Milledge Ville, Georgia. She attended schools in Milledge Ville and came to Akron as a young adult to make it home.

Daisy worked at the University of Akron retiring after 25 years of service. She also worked at other service jobs prior to working for the University. She was well known and respected for her great cooking and baking skills. Daisy was a life-long member of Antioch Baptist Church of Akron until her recent passing.

We find peace in knowing that she is United with her parents, Charlie Sanford, Edward, and Eceaile Monday.

Daisy is survived by her children, Barbara (Robert) Grandison, William (Cheryl) Richardson, and Sandra Richardson, all of Akron, OH; 3 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings Ruby Daniel, Louise Davis, Edward (Patricia) Monday Jr., Lloyd (Debra) Monday and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
