Dalsegno Fisher-Grace was born to his proud parents John Grace and LaTonya Fisher-Grace on October 13, 1976, in Cleveland, OH. Dalsegno, affectionately known as “Bookie” was the first of seven children.
He attended grade school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District before moving to Bedford City Schools in the 80’s. Naturally being a jack of all trades, he excelled at all he did in the workforce. He graduated from trucking school in Indiana and earned his CDL. Later earned his GED, then went on to Cuyahoga Community College to study music. When he transitioned from driving 18 wheelers, you’d find him doing various kinds of automotive, home maintenance & renovation projects across the area. When he wasn’t working, he was singing with family or with his group G.I.F. “Growing In Faith.”
With a bright smile and a bold voice, he made his way into the heart of Neydra Foreman. The two met in 1994 and later they married in February 1998. They built a life together, residing in Akron & Cleveland area suburbs. From their union, their 3 children were born.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Dalsegno would say “he was a good dude” and often reference him as being a big brother or even father figure to them. His genuine nature made him easy to talk to and being the oldest of his siblings made him a protector of all. He took a no-nonsense approach when giving advice and enjoyed showing up for others to take care of what they needed done. He was always a leader and certainly, a man among men.
Dalsegno completed his earthly assignment and transitioned to his heavenly home on August 26, 2023. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George Grace and Janie Marlow, maternal Grandfather David Fisher II as well as his brother, Dacee Fisher Sr. To cherish his memory is his wife, Neydra, his legacy of children: Taylor, Tahj, & Jose’(Tariah), grandchildren Paris, Paige, Zalayah, & Jose’ Jr., his parents: John Grace and LaTonya Fisher-Grace, his grandmother Joyce Fisher, siblings: Khaliah Fisher-Grace, Johnitta Bradley (Rob), Daoud Fisher-Grace (Laylah), Dawud “Poppa” Fisher-Grace of Cleveland & Adiliah Smith (Bryant) of Montgomery, AL along with a host of loving relatives & friends.
