Damon D. Priester passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
Damon was born January 23, 1976, to Lemuel Freeman and Linda White. Damon was a 1994 graduate of Garfield High School. Growing up he loved to play with his action figures along with his cousin Randall Dingle. Damon loved to fish and would accompany his grandmother, Sarah Elton, on many occasions. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and played hours of basketball at Joy Park. He thought he was Michael Jordan. His favorite music artist was Tupac.
He worked at Rubbermaid for many years as a machine operator and also worked at Arconic as a machine operator. He was a diligent worker.
As a child, Damon was a member of Faith Temple Church of the Living God and participated in the A.D.D.(Assertive Discipline Development) program for young men. His activities also included singing in the children’s choir, Junior Usher, Christmas and Easter musicals.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lemuel Freeman, grandparents Willie & Sarah Elton, Louise Freeman, uncle William Elton, and George Conway.
He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Linda White (Ervin Hamilton special friend), daughters, Kazmerra and Amari, grandchildren, Eden & Kenrick, brothers, Tyrone Elton, Ocie Priester, Walter White Jr., sister, Belinda (Deondray) Harper, Aunts, Ramona (Rodney) Dingle, Gara Elton, Vanessa Freeman, Uncles, Johnny (Rosetta) Freeman, Marcus (Kim) Freeman, along with other siblings on his father side, Special cousins, Rodney & Randall Dingle, Anthony Elton, Best friend, Damon Mitchell, nieces, nephews, close friends and family.
