Damond L. Duke, Sr. was born on June 22, 1973, to Sheila Duke and Clayton Ransaw in Akron, OH. He attended Crosby Elementary, Riedinger, and graduated from Central-Hower High School in 1991. After graduation, He furthered his education by attending Wright State University.
Damond completed truck driving school and worked at DDL Trucking as an independent contractor for 14 years. In addition to working, he also enjoyed singing, acting and dancing.
He was formerly married to DeLisa Moore and together they raised; son, Damond Lamont Duke, Jr. and stepdaughter Quontiqua Culver.
