Darius was my dock supervisor at USPS, and he was the most genuine and kind hearted person I ever meet that worked here. If there was a problem with a truck driver or another employee he was always there to have my back and I always had his. On the morning of May 22, 2023 before we left the dock he said you better come to work I need your help, who knew those would be his last words to me. To his family from the bottom of my heart you have my deepest condolences, he will be truly missed and I will be praying for peace and understanding and for God to never let go of your family..

My deepest condolences to the family. A loss is such a hard pill to swallow but if you believe in Jehovah, you know you’ll see him again. He and my nephew Dante were so close now they’re even closer. Close your eyes be at peace and rest.

First and foremost I want to give the family my deepest condolences. I worked with Darius at the USPS Plant in Akron, he was always reserved yet outgoing. A great supervisor to us all. We’ve all shared many stories & laughs together as a work family. Darius was always generous and had a humble spirit. Very cool and laidback, I’m so sorry this happened to you all. Nothing can really make things better in this moment but I pray that you all find strength to carry on and think of all the memories and greatness that was of Darius. He was truly a great individual and friend. I will lift you all up in prayer, may the lord wrap his arms around each of you and heal your hearts in due time. Rest peacefully in heaven Darius you will be missed by us all.
