Darrell McCall went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2018, after a long illness.  Darrell was born on December 13, 1937, to the late Arthur and Sarah McCall in Millbrook Alabama.  He was the first son of eleven children born to this union.  Darrell was a product of Akron Public Schools and graduated from South High School.  He retired from Nichols Bakery with 15 years of service and Firestone Tire and Rubber Company with 20 years of service.  Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Sarah McCall, his first wife Julie and his siblings Mary, Charles, Gloria, Mattie and stepchild Kevin Taylor.

He is survived by his devoted wife Ella and children David (Sallie) McCall, Anthony (Kim) McCall, Serena McCall, Gale, Sharon McCall, and Mike Harris and his stepchildren Thomas Taylor, Jr, Robin L. Taylor, Vernon (Janice) Taylor, and Vincent (Cynthia) Taylor.

Darrell leaves behind his siblings Deliah Tabler, Sandra James, Lillie (Paul) Evans, Lecount McCall, Ezzard McCall and Carlisa (Curtis) Allen, he is also survived by 13 step grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren along with a host of nephews and nieces.
