In Loving Memory of Darryl Anderson
December 4, 1969 – September 7, 2026
Darryl Anderson was born on December 4, 1969, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving mother, Linda Anderson, and his father, David Jones Sr., who preceded him in death.
Darryl attended John Hay High School and later graduated from Berea High School. As a child, he faithfully attended Holy Trinity Church for 10 years, where he developed a deep love for the Lord and His Word. His faith remained an important part of who he was throughout his life.
Darryl had a passion for life and adventure. He loved being over the road and took great pride in his career as a truck driver. He enjoyed traveling, experiencing the open road, and, of course, never turned down a good burrito.
Known to many as “DJ DWay”, Darryl had a deep love for music. He enjoyed being behind the turntables, sharing his passion and spreading joy through music, both in person and on live broadcasts. Music was one of the many ways Darryl connected with people and shared his love.
Darryl also enjoyed watching basketball and football. He was a kind, loving, and protective man who cared deeply for the people around him. His joyful smile could brighten an entire room, and his presence brought warmth and comfort to everyone who knew and loved him.
Above all, Darryl was a proud and loving father. His daughter, Latoya Anderson, was his whole world. He cherished every moment of fatherhood and took great pride in watching his daughter grow. The special bond between Darryl and Latoya will continue forever.
