Daviyon Melvin Hubbard was born to Dwane Hubbard Sr. and Loleta Hubbard on December 23, 2002 in Akron, Ohio. Daviyon graduated from Kenmore/ Garfield in 2021. Immediately after, Daviyon began working for Miller’s Party and Rental where he worked for 3 years , until recently starting working at Erie Waterproofing Company.

Daviyon attended church with his family periodically in his youth, so he knew the Lord for his self. Daviyon was a very outgoing and loving person, and loved to be silly and make people laugh, he kept a smile on his face! Daviyon was a man with many talents, he was a fabulous artist, drawing and painting.

Daviyon enjoyed working out with his dad and body building, where he entered his 1st show in Dayton, Ohio and he came in 2nd place. Daviyon also enjoyed fishing, traveling, and other outdoor activities.

Daviyon is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dale Hubbard Sr. and nana Carol Muhammad,Uncle Carl Young III, aunt Carlissa Young, and cousin Michelle Tibbs.

Daviyon is survived by his parents, Dwane Hubbard Sr. and his mother, Loleta Hubbard; his grandmother, Carolyn Hubbard, and his grandfather, Omarr Muhammad; his brothers: Dwane Hubbard Jr, Dwane Hubbard, Da’Marion Hubbard, and De’Marre Hubbard; his sisters: Destinee Hubbard, and Janea Hubbard; his nephews: Jay, Zion Hubbard-Polson, Dwane Hubbard III; his niece: Khloe Cook; his uncles: Dale Hubbard Jr, Darnell Hubbard, and Herbert Young; and a host of friends and family.

My girls, your cousins Kendall and Kennedy will also miss you. They remember your silliness and how you made them laugh. More people like you are needed in this world for sure. Many prayers for the family. I only met them 6 years ago when we moved next door to his Gramma . He was a blessing and a joy to know. He was always there to help if you needed it. It broke my heart when his Gramma told he he had passed. RIP Daviyon.

Daviyon was one of my students at Hope Academy. He was a very kind, funny, and well behaved student with the very best smile and personality. I will always remember him and the memories we shared. I was so glad to reconnect with him on social media and watch him grow into a great young man. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I just wanna say thank you bro, thank you for teaching me new things throughout my life. You are huge inspiration to soo many of us DayDay and this day is no other than special. Never forgotten brother !
