Dazzle Joe Young was born March 2, 1944 to Marzette and Beatrice Webster in Akron, Ohio. He departed this life Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 79.

Dazzle may have been born in our hometown of Akron, Ohio but he was surely a native New Yorker living there for over 30 years. Dazzle enjoyed eating out at the local Golden Corral. He had a sense of humor like none other. A very outspoken man, he meant what he said and said what he meant. He loved life, his children, nieces, nephew and especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bryant Young, Preston Young and Randolph Young; sisters, Big Dora Smart and Dora Lee (George) Duncan.

He leaves behind his sisters, Carol White of Atlanta and Latona Gaines of Akron; sons, Dazzle Joe and Deandre; daughters, Dazzelle and Jessica; grandchildren, Brittney, Gabrielle, Sierria, Dazzle, Eric, Deandria, Ladai, De’Marie, Dirk, Desiree, Donna, Leonard, Savvannah, Jesiah, Mackenzie, and Kimona; nieces and nephews; special friends, Future Shock, Chilli Joe, Molly Homer and a host of loving family members and friends.
