Deborah was born on May 17, 1964, in Barberton Ohio to Karen and Stanley Ware. Deborah attended a special school for people with disabilities until the age of 18, where she then transferred to the weaver workshop where she fulfilled different work duties according to her capabilities.
She loved going to church and praising the Lord; she did not like missing church. She accepted the Lord and was baptized on August 29, 1999, at Goodyear Heights Baptist Church of Akron, Ohio where she became a full member. She always loved giving people hugs with a smile and was willing to help others.
Her favorite hobby was putting together challenging puzzles. She enjoyed using her hands to make various crafts, going for walks in the park, bowling, loved entertaining people, and was always in the theater. She earned a certificate at the Civic Theater in Akron, Ohio on November 6, 1996, at talent 96 for outstanding stage performance.
She also loved animals and never forgot about our cat. When we would always talk to her over the phone she would always ask how the kitty was doing. She enjoyed watching her old-time cartoons: Mickey Mouse and Popeye The Sailor Man. She really enjoyed spending time with her family.
She really cared about her sister and brother. I remember times when we would talk to her and she would ask how Daphne (Daffy) was doing or what Daffy was doing. When she did get the chance to talk with her sister, Daphne, she would always say “I Love you Daffy”. She was just a sweet and kind-hearted person.
Her favorite place to eat was Wendy’s. Her favorite time of the year is Christmas time. Every year in December her sister Shirley will always get her and will take her to her house and wait on Santa to deliver those presents. She always knew that Santa would come and deliver presents to her house because every morning her face would be full of joy and happiness.
Deborah always had a good memory for remembering, like the time when we would go on camping or when we would go to frequently visited places, she would always navigate family and friends back to the place that others could not remember.
She is preceded in death by her parents Karen and Stanley Ware of Akron Ohio; grandparents Mary and Guy Ware of Barberton Ohio; sister Shirley Klusty of Barberton Ohio; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Her Surviving family includes Daphne Ware (sister), Mike Ware (brother), nieces Lashawna Ware, Aliah Sims, Crystal Sims, and Dwan Hartney, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
