Deborah was born on September 28, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Percy and Marguerite Davis, who predeceased her and now welcome her into eternal rest. Deborah was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her unwavering dedication to family, friends, and community. She spent her early years in Cleveland, where she attended Saint Edwards and Saint Timothy for her primary education she graduated from Hoban Dominican in 1971 Her professional journey was marked by many years of devoted service as an administrator in the Department of Pharmacology in the school of medicine at Case Western Reserve University. Deborah’s work ethic, attention to detail, and compassion for those she worked with left an indelible mark on her colleagues and the institution. Deborah’s faith was a guiding light in her life. She spent several years as a cherished member of Mount Haven Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio, where her spirit of generosity and service touched many. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond the church, as she was known for her exceptional skill in crafts and creating specialized gifts that brought joy to family and friends. In her personal life, Deborah was blessed with a loving family. She is survived by her children, Julian Davis and Shana Davis, who carry forward her legacy of love and her two grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them Ikenna Ogbuji and Chase Smith she also leaves behind siblings Donna Gibson Derek Davis Andre Davis Adrienetta Davis Aricka Davis Asia Davis Adrian Davis and Angel Davis nieces and nephews Chenita Kiesha Jermaine Krista Dajon Zaria Chloe Jermaine Jr Malik Trayveon Malija Kaysen and a host of other great nieces and nephews Deborah’s life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and creativity.
