Deborah Rogers was born June 13,1951 in Cleveland Ohio to the late Annie Ruth and James Bankston. She was the firstborn of four children and graduated from John Adams on August 8, 1969. Deborah attended cosmetology school and shortly after she meet the love of her life, Wilson (Nean). On December 18, 1971, they were joined in Holy Matrimony, and to this lovely union three children were born- Shanti, Wilson (little man), and Leon.
Deborah was employed at AT&T for 30 years and Cleveland Board of Education for 33 years. She was well known for her strong will and lively personality. She loved spending quality time with her children and making sure they were happy. She also enjoyed line dancing weekly with her friends. Deborah always worked hard and took care of her family a true definition of a Mother. She enjoyed traveling and shopping with her family and friends.
Deborah’s memory will forever be cherished. She was preceded in death by one son, Leon, husband, Wilson and one sibling, James (Pete). She is survived by one beloved daughter, Shanti and one cherished son, Wilson (Little man), two loving sisters, Linda and Carlotta, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
