Deloris Jean Wallace departed this life on April 23, 2021, at the age of 74. She was born in Copley, OH on March 30, 1947, to the late Mary Lou and William M. Bibby.
She attended Copley High school graduating in 1964. She went on to work as a nurse’s aide at Brecksville Skilled Nursing Home. She later retired from the nursing home in 1982. During retirement, she headed west to travel the coast of California for a few years. At the time of her death, she was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church where she was an active member of the choir, usher board, and event volunteer.
Deloris spent time with her grandchildren teaching them and having fun on bus trips and walks around the pond. She also enjoyed going to bingo, taking care of her plants, (the plants were considered her other children after only having one child). She spent time in her community room with her friends doing jigsaw puzzles and having nice conversations. She was a kind a gentle soul, with such an amazing sense of humor. She will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Bibby, her parents; and brothers, Robert Bibby, and Nathaniel Bibby.
She is survived by her brother, William M. Bibby, Jr.; aunt, Sandy Hatch; grandson, Tristian Bibby; granddaughters, Trishay and Trishelle Bibby; great-grandson, Immanuel Bibby; special nieces and nephews, Carmesha Neal, Anthony Bibby, Endeea Taneke Bibby, Yurvonicka Hatch as well as a host of extended family and friends.
