Demetrius L. Miller affectionally known as “BAY” was born on April 30, 1964 to Delores Miller and the late Clifford Johnson. After a well spent life, God gently transitioned him to eternity on August 31, 2023 in Tucson Arizona.
Demetrius was the youngest of five children. He was proceeded in death by his father Clifford Johnson and his two brothers Talmage Miller and Burnell Miller. Talmage
Demetrius was educated through the Cleveland Public School system. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1984. After graduation, he decided to further his education by going to Cleveland State University for two years. On March 13, 1986, Demetrius joined the Air Force where he served twenty-five years and eighteen days, while on tour he served in the Gulf War, Border Patrol, and in Ecuador Demetrius retired from United State Air Force on March 31, 2011 with an honorable discharge. After his retirement he thirst for more education, where he went back to school in Phoenix Arizona, to earn his Master Degree.
As a young child Demetrius love to play with toy soldiers in the dirt, which we found out the toy soldiers were airmen. “Bay” never liked football, but after his childhood friend PePe taught him how to catch the football he played for a team by the name of The World and became one of the best receivers in the city.
Demetrius was well loved by everyone he met. He truly was a great role model.
Left to celebrate his transition and cherished precious memories, his mother Delores Miller, brother Marlon Miller and Desmond Miller, Uncle Rodney (Brenda) a beloved Aunt Marguerite Bradford. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
