Demetrius Lamar Jones was born on April 25, 1982, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving mother, Catherine Jones, and father, Dale Bryant, who preceded him in death. Demetrius was the only child of Catherine and was cherished beyond measure.
At an early age, Demetrius was baptized at Mission Hope Baptist Church, where his foundation of faith began. He attended Woodland Hills Elementary School before moving to Maple Heights, where he continued his education at Milkovich Middle School. During his younger years, Demetrius was known for being very athletic and active.
Demetrius was a dedicated and hardworking man. He was employed at Nestle for 20 years, where he remained faithfully committed to his work until his passing. His strong work ethic and dependability were qualities that defined him.
Demetrius shared 17 beautiful years with his beloved wife, Lakisha. The two were joined as one on February 14, 2012. Lakisha was truly the love of his life, and their bond was one filled with devotion, laughter, and partnership.
He enjoyed barbecuing for his family, traveling, and taking mini road trips with his wife, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Demetrius will be remembered for his strength, dedication, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
