Dennis Butler, born August 24th, 1959, Cleveland, Ohio.
He was the youngest son of Doshia and Calvin Butler, who preceded him in death. He attended Martin Luther King High School, where he majored in Horticulture. Dennis accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Dennis worked at Wings Warehouse as a cook. Loving to show off his cooking and grilling skills, he often provided bountiful meals for his family. As much as he loved to cook, he loved to eat, earning him the nickname “Fat Daddy”. He was a man of integrity, known for his positive outlook on life and the love for his children. He loved to laugh and tell anyone who would listen a joke. Making memories with his family from dressing up for Halloween, being the man of the house, earning the nickname of UNK to sharing stories from back in the day.
He loved sports, especially high school football, Friday Night Lights was his favorite. Dennis had a love for jewelry and could never say no to a nice chain, ring or watch. No matter the occasion, he was putting on his finest attire. When he dressed everything had to match from head to toe, always looking sharp as a tac. He will be deeply missed by his children Lloyd Rogers, Samantha Rogers and Dennis Butler Jr. (Cheyenne).
