Born to Elizabeth and Wayman Emory, Dennis grew up on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from East tech High School in 1962 and went to the army in May of 1962. Dennis worked at L. T.V. Steel and owned his own business for forty years. He attended Case Western Reserve University and worked at the Cleveland Clinic. He was an avid golfer, excellent cook, loved cowboy movies, reading National Geographic, telling jokes and his family dearly.
Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter Dena and sister Rita. He will be dearly missed by his wife of thirty-seven years, Yvonne, his children Denise, Gregory (Leah), Eric, James, and Ashley, his siblings Eileen, Kevin (Wanda), Jeffrey, his grandchildren Demeria, Deria, Imaryah, Eric Jr., Elyse, Deshawn, his 6 great grandchildren, his favorite niece April, his best friend Wesley and his good friend Mark and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
