Devan Demetrius Reed born June 9, 1993, in Cleveland Ohio, to Linda and Roger. He was the youngest of his siblings.
He attended Cleveland Public Schools, also Job Corps of America in Detroit Michigan. He received a degree in Business Administration. He was a member of the Route Planning Committee for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority.
He loved attending church, under the leadership of Bishop G. Walker at the PDM. Devan was soft spoken but stern at times, mild mannered, egotistical, energetic, kindred spirited, compassionate, and very comical. He had many nicknames for family members & non family, mostly which they’d not heard of. He was great cook, very adventurous, he attempted to set goals for himself, regardless of his health. He was ambitious and considered all most everyone he to be a friend. He was Heroic in his own way. He fought a good fight as a brave little warrior, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.
Devan had many nicknames: aka Lou – Heavy-D, Dman, Cackler, Shorty Oaughty and Dee.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his parents Linda and Roger, one sister, Jaylyn Coleman of Youngstown, OH; 4 brothers, Darius Coleman (OH), Andrew Coleman (Ft. Deposit, AL), Roger Reed, and Cedric Reed of (Chicago, IL); 4 nieces, Jayden, Jonaya, Riley (Youngstown, OH, and Ava (Montgomery, AL); 3 nephews, Cameron, Exabier, Alden (AL); 5 aunts, Debbie Parnell, (Youngstown, OH), Clara Coleman (Ft. Deposit, AL), Sundra Hunter (AL), Harriet Parter, (Cleveland, OH), Annie Bailey (AL); 2 late aunts Charla & Ruthie May (AL), Auntie Cousin Kaire, Jesse; special cousins, Samarian Coleman & Autalese Parnell (both of Youngstown), Altoya Parnell (Cleveland) and Tracy.
