Diana Lynn Harris, affectionately called Lynn, was born February 4, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, to James and Elvira Warren (Cumby). She enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and sewing. In her early childhood, Lynn was a Girl Scout; the troops taught her to help others. Lynn was an ordained minister who lived by faith. Not only did she love to minister, but she also truly believed in asking God for what she needed and would often be heard telling others to trust in Him.
Lynn graduated from John R. Buchtel High School in 1975. In the early 1990’s, she earned a Business Accounting degree from Bryant & Stratton Accounting Program. She received her certification in Chronic Disease, Pain, and Diabetes Self-Management from Cleveland State University. She received her bachelor degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Counselling from Tri-State Bible College in Akron, OH. Lynn was highly creative; she had a unique and memorable way of touching hearts and improving the lives of everyone she met.
Diana Lynn Harris was a beautiful woman, one could say. Many people treasured and adored her. She was a natural conversationalist with the ability to enliven any setting. Diana loved to laugh and always found a way to make people laugh; she had a terrific sense of humor. Her bright and effervescent attitude was always ready to make others smile.
The way Lynn carried herself with pride despite her challenges she faced in life radiated strength in her demeanor. During free time, she would do things she enjoyed, like crocheting, sewing, gardening, traveling, repairing cars with her son, and spending time with family and friends.
Diana Lynn Harris, age 65, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2022. She will be cherished for her generosity and unshakeable character, even in death. Her death creates a void that will never be filled in many people’s hearts.
She was preceded in death by her mother Elvira Cumby, father James Warren, stepfather Vincent Cumby, grandmother Louise Snow, grandfather King Snow, and Cousin Brandon Carey.
She is survived by her son, Talbert Warren; daughter, Talitha (Anthony) Braggs; brother, Darryl (Dena) Warren; aunt, Rose Snow; granddaughter, Talaina Warren; first cousin, Michael Carey; cousin, Dana Carey, Norman Weatherly, and Brandon Ennis; any family, and friends who loved and treasured her.
