My deepest sympathy and empathy go out to the whole family and friends. The passing of a Mother or "Mom" is one of the toughest burdens to bear. Thank the Lord that we have a Master of Solace to whom we can go. It was good to see the service and get to know "Mom" better. Her life touched so many and created a much better world. She is with Jesus now and watching over us and still saying her 'phrases of wisdom". She wants so much for all to come to Heaven with her where there is no suffering, no sorrow, no sickness and no unrighteousness. Peace and joy, praise to the King. We pray for each of us who remain. May we all find comfort in knowing that Almighty God cares about our hurts. He says in his word, he knows us so well and loves us more than anything in creation (Matt 6). He tells us to come to him and cast our "cares" upon him and he will provide us rest from those afflictions (1 Peter 5:7, Matt. 6 & 11, Psalms 55, Proverbs 16). Having been through this narrow path ourselves in recent past, there is not a day that doesn't go by where a thought of mom doesn't bring a tear and smile. Knowing she is with her Savior brings the smile and assurance that it is good. We will grieve a little less each day but our sadness still remains because of the nurturing love she gave. Peace be with you all. Take comfort in knowing that Dianna Marie Johnson remains in love with you and that her God, our Christ Jesus loves us all and is there at the call of His name.
