Dianne Thomas was born on December 27, 1965, to Bobby and Marian Thomas in East Cleveland, Ohio.
She attended Superior Elementary and Kirk Middle School, and was a proud graduate of Shaw High School.
Dianne dedicated many years of service to the Federal Government, working diligently within the Internal Revenue Service.
A vibrant spirit who loved life and people, Dianne’s heart belonged to her family. Her passion for genealogy led her to become the family historian, preserving the rich legacy of the Thomas and Lawler families. Even through illness, her love, generosity, and commitment to her loved ones never wavered.
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Lord gently called Dianne home to eternal rest.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Nelson and Eula Mae Lawler, and Nehemiah and Earldean Thomas; her parents, Bobby and Marian Thomas; and her brothers, Bobby Thomas, Jr. and Michael Thomas.
Dianne leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Devaughn and Malik Thomas; brothers, her twin Darryl Thomas, Geofry Thomas, Jeffy Barnett, Dean Barnett, and Jaccard Welch; sisters, Sandra Lawler McMillian and Adrienne Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
