Debra Lewis-Curlee left a message on March 5, 2026:
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Dion. I enjoyed our time at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) during the earlier 70s. Dion was a member of the CWRU African American Alumni Association and a faithful attendee at events. I am so sorry for your family and you are in my prayers. Chaos enters our lives, throwing us into crisis, and in the resulting fear and worry, we don’t know what to do. And often, that lack of wisdom causes even more anxiety, even leading to no hope in the moment. In these times of uncertainty, when we need to make a decision, we need God’s wisdom. Thankfully, he promises he will give us wisdom and understanding. “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5) Good news! His wisdom isn’t something we can earn. He gives it freely and generously. All we need to do is ask.
