Donna Woods Hadden, 71, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Tallmadge, Ohio.
Donna was born on June 10, 1955, in Akron, Ohio, to Douglas and Daisy Woods. She graduated from Central-Hower High School and went on to pursue a career in nursing. She attended Akron School of Practical Nursing, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), before attending Saint Thomas Hospital School of Nursing, where she earned her Registered Nurse (RN) credentials. Donna worked at Saint Thomas Hospital before joining Visiting Nurse Service.
Donna shared 35 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Donald Hadden, and together were blessed with one daughter, Daisya. Donna loved to travel and was fortunate to explore numerous historical places throughout the world. Her greatest joy, however, was being a mother. She took immense pride in providing Daisya with a world filled with experiences, opportunities, and love.
Donna and her husband attended Arlington Church of God, where she was an active and devoted member. She faithfully served in the Missions, Visitation, Bereavement, Funeral, Senior, and Card Ministries. She was also a member of the Diaconate Board, Women in Motion, and the Women’s Auxiliary at the Haven of Rest.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Daisy Woods, and her brother, Spencer Woods.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Donald Hadden; daughter, Daisya Hadden; sisters, Mona Gillum, Roseanne Hubbard, and April (Ted Lilly); nieces and nephews; cousins; her church family; and lifelong friends.
