Donte Lavoris Alexander passed away on December 15, 2018.

Donte Lavoris Alexander known as “Tay” was born on November 30, 1989 to Patricia Alexander and Edward Carter in Shelby, MS.  At the age of 3 Donte’s family moved to Ohio.

Donte has 2 children.  His favorite hobby was video games.

He leaves to cherish his memories children, Donte Alexander, Jr., Tymeir Reese; mother, Patricia Alexander; father, Edward Carter; sisters, Yolanda Alexander-Tard (Scotty), Kemonisha Alexander; brothers, Toddell Alexander, Sr., Henri Alexander, Sr., Jeremy Gooden; grandmother, Linda Burrell; grandfather, Keith Burell; special friends and family, Shannon Smith, Devonn Hatcher, Deshawn Tatum, Lanesha Tatum, Curtisha Mitchell, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

My heart goes out to the family of Donte. Please know caring thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of great sorrow. The Bible refers to 'death' as mankind's enemy. May you be comforted by God's promise to destroy death. Isaiah 25:8 assures us, "He (God) will actually Swallow up Death Forever..." We are even promised that one day we will be reunited with our dead loved ones again. Isaiah 26:19, guarantees, "Your DEAD will LIVE. Awake and shout joyfully, You Residents In the Dust!.." With deepest sympathy.

Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Donte has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised.
