Doris J. James, 67, was called to glory on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Doris was born at Barberton Citizen’s Hospital to Napoleon and Dorothy Douglas. She worked as a patient care technician for 35 years at Manor Care Nursing Home. She was a Blue Star military Mom of the United States Armed Forces. She enjoyed going to the movies, attending her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Napoleon (Dorothy) Douglas; brothers, Lawrence and Gerald Douglas; and sister, Juanita Young.
She is survived by her 5 children, Robert (Denise) Douglas, Dorothy (Anthony) McCullum, Wayne Douglas, Sondra Douglas, and Dawn Henry; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur (Deborah) Douglas, and Anthony (Helen) Douglas; sisters, Patricia Gyasi, Vivian Freeman, and Rose Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
