Dorothy B. Allen was on born on March 28, 1920 to the late, Arron and Gennie Richardson. She went to Akron Public Schools and graduated from the University of Akron. Miss Allen was a faithful member at Wesley Temple Church. She taught in the Akron and Cleveland Public School systems.
Dorothy married George W. Allen and from this union, they had two beautiful daughters: Dorothy and Carol. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved cooking and baking cakes.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, George W. Allen; grandson, George Henderson; and son-in-law, Nathanial Henderson; and all of her siblings.
Her memory is left to be cherished by her daughters, Dorothy Henderson and Carol Bunn; grandchildren, Hanna, Dasha, Damier, Von, Dolphos (Antoinette) Henderson and Micheal (Wanda) Bunn; granddaughter-in-law; Camilla Byron; sister-in-law, Cody Richardson; cousins-in-law, Debra and Fred Culver; devoted niece, Ruth (Ronnie) Jacobs; special nephew, Arron (Antoinette) Jr.; and a host of family and friends.
