I met Dorothy, November, 2005, at the Cleveland Branch NAACP. where she was the clerical secretary. Dorothy, along with Stan Miller and Francine Farmer was a joy to work with. We were like one big family. I kept up with Dorothy and would visit her at her home on Caine and when she moved on West Grace. She had a great sense of humor and possessed a no nonsense spirit. We had great conversations discussing the Word and the issues within the city. Dorothy was elated when she received the call to move into her residence in Bedford Heights. We talked periodically checking on each other. and catching up on our ground adult children. I will truly miss our talks and the friendship we developed over the last 18 years.
