My dearest Granddad, although your light may have gone out in this world, I pray that on the day when the trumpets sound, that by the grace of God, we will be reunited in the clouds. Until then, please know that the glow that you gave off will forever be in my heart. We will never forget you. Granddad, I am happy that I got to "bully" you one last time, and I pray that you knew that no matter the distance, I will always be your little Sunshine. Rest in peace Granddad. Love you.

Dad, Your passing was quite a shock to all of us and left us with feelings of deep sadness. I know that Sarah and Josh have been particularly impacted but they are relieved to know that your suffering is over and you are at rest. Robin’s love for, and dedication to, you is unquestioned and we will endeavour to support her and each other in this time of grief. One thing I have always admired about you was your ability to reinvent yourself and adapt to situations based on the circumstances that confronted you. All done to ensure that you could take care of and provide for your loved ones. Our relationship was always cordial and respectful and while I did not share your passion and enthusiasm for motor racing our mutual love for cricket, and in particular the West Indies, led to many animated discussions and reflections. Dad, you will be sorely missed. May your soul rest in eternal peace. Harry
Andrew Carrington left a message on November 4, 2021:
Uncle Cil - Thank you for being such a good example of what it means to forgive and to be forgiven. Your quiet demeanor and persevering spirit despite great challenges will be greatly missed. Rest in Power. We will see you again when Jesus comes.
Robin Rose left a message on November 3, 2021:
Dearest Dad, you have been called to rest even earlier than was expected. However, Almighty God in His wisdom knows best. As you patiently sleep to be awakened on that glorious morn, I pray that we shall all be awakened on the first call of the trumpet sounding and be united with mum again. We have travelled many a road, seen eye to eye on some issues, and been at crossroads on many others. However, they all cemented a love only fathers and daughters can share. I shall miss our prayer time and bible study time. But, more than ever I shall miss you Dad. May you rest your weary head and your memory be in God’s book of life. Until we meet again. Rest in Peace Dad. Robs.
