Drake leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years Cynthia; daughters Kai Jones, Anika El (Shaheen) and Tiombe Garrett, four grandchildren Gregory, Asia, Sani and Akira; three sisters Mae Grant, Amanda Wilks and Effie Kendall; aunt Effie Chatman; special niece Rita Jackson and a host of nieces and nephews,relatives and friends.
Drake was preceded in death by his mother and father Ernest and Elease Garrett; three brothers, Walter (died in infancy), Maury and Steven; two sisters, Hermanie McFarland and Roberta Garrett.
