Earnest Nelson Moore Jr was born October 29th, 1946. To the late Ella Louise (Darden) Moore. Father Earnest Nelson Moore Sr.

Earnest was born in Springfield, Tennessee. At a very young age Earnest and his family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. Earnest accepted Christ at an early age. Ernest also attended Cleveland Public Schools. Where he graduated from East Tech High, where he also participated in the high school basketball team.

Earnest and his brother William (Billy) enjoyed singing and performing together, Earnest always expressed how family was everything to him.

Earnest was a very humble and gentle human being. He was the leader of our family. Earnest was a hard worker for years and enjoyed caring for others. In Earnest’s last days he resided in St Augustine Manor where he also worked for many years.

Earnest was truly one to remember the staff at St Augustine remembered Earnest after many years of working at the facility and had nothing but heartwarming memories of him.

Earnest enjoyed watching western movies Earnest was also known for his stylish ways suits, hats, shoes everyday was a fashion show for him.

Earnest has gone to meet the king. He is survived by 2 brothers Harold Moore (shirl) and Willie Long Jr. (Versie) from Cleveland Ohio He was preceded in death, by his mother Ella Louis Father Earnest Sr. Siblings Sue Greene Robert William Margie Ronald and Rickey Moore.

Earnest never had biological children, but he raised many. The Vinson children and the McNeil children, he loved them dearly as if they were his own. Earnest also leaves a host of Nieces Nephews and cousins.
