Ebenezer will not be forgotten by his family and friends. We grew up in Barberton and attended ULLight and Barberton high school together. He served our country proudly in the army. And, served in Vietnam. I found out Ebenezer was in a rehab facility in Memphis Tn. I was lucky to spend time with him on different occasions showing him pictures of his classmates. Rest In Peace .

Family, & Friends, Ebenezer was love and loved, One of our true shining stars from our Magic City.
Ebo never met a stranger and he was always proud being a Barbertonian. Although many years have passed there were many times I spent with Ebo whether at Lake Anna or around town talking.
He called me his little sister back then, like many he was friends and had gone to school and served in the VietNam with my older brother Alex, So therefore he referred to the above.
I've been blessed with many good people in my life, I'm truly thankful.
Some of my fondest memories are back in the 70's when the Barberton Food Co-op was open, Alan, Jim L. (Hop) Ebo and myself would drive late Fridays early Saturdays to reach the Cleveland truck terminals to start our ritual to be the first ones to start dickering with the vendors, Rini's was one, Alan had a good rapport with them so he dealt with that one. We chose the freshest fruits and veggies, Ebo and I would team up and Jim and Alan did their own thing. We had to wait until 3am? or 4 by law before we could do any deals with the vendors. It was quite an experience and we loaded that old blue and white box truck to the top and headed back to B'town singing, talking knowing there would be many coming in to help fill all the orders. I really enjoyed my time with Ebo. My brother Alex was fortunate enough to visit with him recently in Memphis, I sent Ebenezer the article from the Barberton Herald along with a card to remind our old friend of our adventures. The aides called me from Memphis to say he smiled after being read and shown the card and placed it on his bedroom wall.
Ebenezer, Always in our hearts my old friend.
Ebeneezer Harris I Salute you with Honor, Respect, and Love. Thank you for your service.
