Eddie Bryant was born Friday, December 7, 1928, in Marion, Alabama to Althea and Craig Beverly. He was raised with four brothers and three sisters. His four brothers and one sister are with the Lord. Two sisters survive him.
Eddie was a great husband, father, provider, and man of God along with many other titles. Early on, Eddie married the love of his life, Gladys Bryant, who preceded him in death. They shared their love and marriage, bound by God, for over 60 years. That love was shared with four wonderful daughters: Gloria, Charlene (deceased), Beverly, and Mildred. Eddie served our country for four years and was a man with structure and determination. After serving our country, he found that he really had a knack for repairing electronic devices and engineering. This was demonstrated during his many years of employment at Ford Motor Company. He finally retired at the age of 55. After his retirement, he continued working security and fixing TVs. Eddie Bryant passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the age of 94.

He leaves behind 13 loving grandchildren: Tamara Bryant, Charles Payton, Michael Payton, John Willis, Caprice Willis, Crystal Shelton, Franky Tucker, Christopher Tucker, Angelita Tucker, Walter Payton, Lyric Payton, Dale Payton, and Johnny Payton. He was two surviving siblings: Judy Cunningham and Margaret Beverly. He also leaves a host of wonderful great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
