Edward “Noot” Campbell was born into this life to the late Annie Ruth Campbell and the late B. Person on December 28, 1950 in Tuskegee, Alabama.
On September 24, 2024, God commissioned his heavenly host of angels to escort him home.
He accepted Christ at an early age, being baptized at the Union Springs Baptist Church in Tuskegee, Alabama. Noot attended school in the Macon County School System during his earlier years and the Cleveland Public School system in his later years.
Noot had many jobs during his lifetime, but his most enjoyable was at Man-Gill on St. Clair.
Noot married the late Edith Diane Marie Campbell and took as his own Isaiah Campbell (son) and Zayonna Campbell (granddaughter)
Noot loved the Ohio lottery, sports, fishing and gardening; he believed he could grow anything that had a seed. He spent many years entertaining with The Young Saints Social Club. During this time, he picked up the name K.D (Kid Dynamite).
Noot was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Edith D. Marie Campbell, his brothers—Eddie and Timothy Campbell, William, Charles, Daniel, James and sister Delois Collins. Grandma Bird, Grandparents Ernest and Sadie, Aunt Ardie (Doll) and Uncle David (Bro).
Noot leaves to cherish his memory, son Isaiah and granddaughter Zayonna Campbell, Uncles Duane and Timothy Jones, sister Annette, brothers Douglas and Ronnie (Diana).
A variety of families mourn his loss; the Collins, Roe, Williams, Johnson, Gibson, Champions, Bonner, Jackson, Germany, Sparks, Alexander, Menefee, Owens, and Cox.
Noot leaves behind a plethora of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as a host of friends to memorialize him.
While Noot may be gone, he will never be forgotten. His spirit will live forever in our hearts.
