Edward L. Morris was born on April 28, 1940, to Oril and Rosa Morris (Stoveall) in Haynesville, Louisiana.

They were blessed to be able to travel to their favorite vacation destination in Hawaii. Edward also followed his passion for golfing. He attended many golfing tournaments in Florida and watching his idol, Tiger Woods. Eventually Edward moved to Ohio, his final destination, before being called home. He passed away peacefully on December 22, 2022.
