Efrem R. Johnson born August 1, 1959, in Akron, OH and departed this life on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Throughout his life Efrem loved watching sports, cooking and became a Certified Chef.
Efrem was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Johnson, and his father, Earnest Jones Sr., sisters: Lisa Jones and Diane Jones; special cousin: Yolanda Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories daughter Ebony Starks and three grandchildren, sisters: Eldora L. Johnson, Elicia L. Johnson Madubuko, Earnestine Jones and Kim Fisher; brothers: Earnest Jones Jr. and Rodney Jones. Uncle Richard James (Yolanda) aka Rick James of Los Angeles; Special Aunt, Mary Pitts; Special Cousins: Kasadale Batties, Arlene Johnson, Michael Pitts and Diana James (California). A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends: Jonetta Sykes-McClain, Nate and Donna Evans, Ava Littlejohn and Wendy Hullum.
