Elayne G. Goins 96 years old was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on June 12, 2023.

Elayne was born on August 7th, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio the only child of Leonard O. Robards, and Melrose L. (Gaither) Robards. She leaves to treasure her memory her children; daughter Melrose (LeRoy) Cross, son William S. Bray, and daughter Andrea Smart. Seven grandchildren: Erich (Tricia) Cross, Nichole Sims, Damon Bray, Kendra (John) McAdory, Sean Goins (Atija), Sophia Smart, and Brandon Goins. Nine great-grandchildren: Travon Bray, Melvin Hodges, Sean Goins, Jr. Hendrix Cross, Aidan Cross, Aiden Bray, Kai McAdory, Sincere Goins, Sarai Goins. Her son Glyn C. Goins passed January 18, 2020, and her beloved husband of 55 years Collins J. Goins passed February 17, 2010.

She also leaves to treasure her memory those who affectionately called her “Mama E”; Judy Barnes, Michael Bray, and Kevelin Bray.

Elayne enjoyed music (particularly jazz), loved spending time with family and friends, she was generous to a fault.
