In loving memory of Elva Nellie (Villanueva) Hudson, affectionately known as Elba, who entered this world on November 5, 1947, in Comerio, Puerto Rico, to the union of Domingo Villanueva and Juanita (Maldonado) Martinez. Despite being an adult, Elba held Luis in high regard, embracing him not just as a stepfather but as a cherished father figure in her life. Elba was preceded in death by her parents as well as her two younger brothers, Nelson and Edward.
Her educational journey led her through the halls of Catholic Schools, shaping the foundation of the compassionate and caring woman she became. Elba’s life was a testament to devotion, as she embraced roles as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her infectious smile and kind heart were a source of warmth, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

From that moment forward, theirs was a love story that spanned 54 remarkable years until God called Elba home.
Throughout their journey together, Elba and Sam were blessed with an abundance of love, happiness, and joy. Their union was truly the epitome of a “Match Made in Heaven,” a testament to the enduring strength of their bond and the depth of the love they shared.
