Ellen Reglus, born Ellen Best on June 1, 1962, entered this world as the cherished daughter of Louis Johnson and Vernell Best. She was later lovingly adopted and raised by Curtis Glenn and Ruthie Mae Mack, and embraced as a daughter by her devoted stepfather, Alfonso Herring. Surrounded by the love of her brother and sisters, Ellen’s life was rooted in family from the very beginning.
Ellen was a deeply devoted mother to her two sons, Michael Reglus and Kenneth Reglus, whom she loved beyond measure. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Mikhalan Denson, Jaz’Mel Acy, the late Kayden Reglus, Kayceon Reglus, Kayvon Reglus, and Karma Reglus. She treasured each moment spent with them and took immense pride in the family she helped build.
A hardworking and dedicated woman, Ellen spent over 30 years employed with the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA), where she faithfully served until her retirement. Following her career, she pursued her passion by becoming the proud owner of All For You Tours, organizing trips that brought joy, laughter, and lasting memories to many.
Ellen had a deep love for reading and was an enthusiastic fan of movies. She found happiness in traveling and took great pride in supporting and uplifting her family and friends. Known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering loyalty, she touched countless lives with her kindness and love.
Ellen peacefully transitioned at her home on March 19, 2026. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave so freely and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on in all who knew and loved her.
